We’re taking the AI Salon to DC
I’m excited to share our third major AI policy and legislator education event! Next week, more than a dozen AI startup founders are flying into Washington, DC hosted by The AI Salon, myself and Daisy Thomas. Not for a photo-op. For real conversations: roundtables, Congressional and Senate office meetings, and a set of meetings with White House and Commerce staff. Here’s the thing I keep coming back to: the future of AI policy can’t be written only by the largest companies and the loudest think tanks. It has to include the people actually building. The people creating. The people leveraging AI to bring their ideas to life in transformative ways. We’re bringing founders who can talk about infrastructure, accessibility, trust, safety, creativity, productivity, and what happens when a promising tool meets human-centric thoughtful AI exploration. And we’re talking about AI in an optimistic way, talking about AI Readiness and even our mission: Play First. Create Excellence. Generously Lead. If you’re the type of person who thinks it’s important for us to have a voice at the table during these important times, stay close. I’ll share the run of show and the why behind The AI Salon DC Fly-in all week. Kyle Shannon
